Stephen Hall
Founder & President
Although he grew up in the shooting sports, Stephen was always entrepreneurial starting his journey with a great work ethic. His understanding and love for technology helped H&H in an important way and assist in it growing into what it became. As the years progressed he was promoted to take on more major roles in the business and improved many things about day to day operations. As with any growing business Stephen was tasked on several projects inside and brought a different view of how to do things more efficiently and profitable. These included building a Facebook page that quickly became the largest of all independent dealer’s operations in the country with likes and visits. Winning the best Facebook site by the readers of the State newspaper the Oklahoman. Carrying on that knowledge, he also built and continued to adjust the website to keep up with interest of the ever-growing shooting sports market. After having the honor of working with many performance oriented dealers around the country he was encouraged to start his own consulting business. So along with his wife, Meghan they developed Hall-N-Hall. Stephen, openly states that “This will hopefully allow the family to help with the growth of the shooting sports industry to be healthier and more profitable”.
Meghan Hall
Consultant
Meghan started by first joining a local department store where she quickly rose through the ranks to area lead. She joined the H&H family shortly before graduating from college after helping out at the store for various events. She started out working in receiving and merchandising and grew and then into buying and inventory management. Meghan’s’ retail experience included all aspects of working and running a business, but in the last decade her main expertise was in purchasing and inventory control. Specifically, this included establishing guidelines, and formulas for buying and the successful execution of those. Training department leaders in these processes was also a major focus. She proudly proclaims that she “lives by a philosophy of training your replacement in order to grow further”. She along with Jayne spent many years developing beneficial relationships with manufacturers, distributors and the buying group. As the business grew this area was critical to the relationship with guests. She also states “You must have product and at the right margin to make sure the business stays profitable”.
Sam Hixson
Strategy Officer
Sam has been a wonderful addition to the team. He has been in the retail field for several years. Starting with high end apparel sales. Sam’s work ethic is strong and he quickly earned his way into an administrative role. With experience in purchasing and receiving as well as merchandising. His strongest talent, however, is in teaching how to establish a wonderful guest experience. He knows that merchandising, floor layout and presentation insure a memorable shopping experiences. In addition, he is also knowledgeable in IT matters and uses those tools to help companies work more efficiently and profitable. He sees the big picture yet tends to the smallest details.
Kent Swenson
Client Success Specialist
Kent has grown up in the shooting sports world; his family moved to Oklahoma when he was four years old, he became fast friends with Stephen Hall as children. He has worked with the Halls for the past ten years, in many different roles, one role was as the safe delivery manager. In this, Kent oversaw scheduling, delivery, and prep for nearly 1,000 safes per year. He has an eye for detail and always makes sure the guest is well taken care of. Kent is our Client Success Specialist he will ensure that no details slip through the cracks. We are more than thrilled to have kent as part of the Hall-N-Hall Family!
Jayne Hall
Consultant
Along with her husband Miles were the founders of H & H Shooting Sports Complex in Oklahoma City. Jaynes experience has been all aspects of starting, building and running a business including accounting and developing policy guidelines. In the last decade, her main area was firearms purchasing. Developing beneficial relationships with manufacturers, distributors and the buying group was her top priority. As the business grew this area was critical to the successful relationship with guests. The right product at the right price is of utmost importance in maintaining a profitable business. Jayne & Miles have helped hundreds in planning and developing their operations all over the country. After much soul searching they sold their interest in the business in July of 2016 and now devote full time to helping range/retailers around the country improve their operation and keep growing and building the shooting sports. She has also been a frequent speaker at industry functions such as Shot Show, the Summit and various distributors just to name a few.
Miles Hall
Senior Consultant
Along with his wife Jayne, were the Founders of H & H Shooting Sports Complex in Oklahoma City. Starting in 1981 they built a community educational and retail complex for developing and promoting the shooting sports, and worked hard for over 35 years breaking lots of new ground in the marketing and developing of the sport.  Along with a wonderful staff of team members and fellow leaders, they became ranked as a top “10 dealer” by most all the major manufacturers in the shooting sports. H&H was doing well over 20 million a year and selling 16,000 + firearms a year under their leadership. Miles was honored to be a founding member and served as past president of the Association of Shooting Ranges, a founding member of the Association of Firearm Retailers, and a past board member of the National Shooting Sports Foundation. H&H was named “2004 Retailer of the Year” by Shot Business Magazine and were co-founders of the first P-20 peer review groups in the shooting sports industry. In that same year, they were selected for the first Shooting Industry Academy of Excellence “Citizenship Award.” H&H was also selected for the first “Range of the Year” honor in 2006.  H&H was the first facility to receive a “5 Star” rating from the National Shooting Sports Foundation. Many have stated that the business was considered the trend setter in the shooting sports. Inc. Magazine had selected them as one of the fastest growing privately held business in the United States for nine years and is the only gun dealer ever in that list for four of those years.  They were one of the nation’s largest indoor range and retail center for the shooting sports. Along with the rest of the Hall family have had the honor of helping hundreds in planning and developing their operations all over the country. Openly sharing their knowledge, they are frequent speakers at industry functions such as Shot Show, the Summit and various distributors just to name a few. After much soul searching they sold their interest in the business in July of 2016 and now devote full time to helping range/retailers around the country improve their operation and keep growing and building the shooting sports. Miles & Jayne have been married for just over 38 years with three children and seven grandchildren. They are active in the local community but are also tapped regularly for advice by national political & business leaders.  They even have hosted over 22 international students in home.
